Motivational Speaker and Development Coach. Wanesha discovered her passion for poetic expression at an early age.

Wanesha also know as (MissUnderstood) Allows poetry to become her vehicle when addressing Social Issues from Peer Pressure and Poverty, to Homelessness and Personal Development. Wanesha’s unprecedented drive and devotion to encourage and motivate others is Insurmountable, as was demonstrated by her continued service despite the passing of her primary support system Walter and Ella Spencer. Wanesha a “First Generation College Graduate” strives to break all cultural norms to encourage others that Social/Economic Circumstance serves No Excuse for Idleness! Wanesha Spencer is a Gibbs High School Alumni, Saint Petersburg College Alumni, and University of South Florida Alumni holding a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Social Work and Sociology.
In 2004 Wanesha received the “Volunteer of the Year Award” from Douglas Jamerson Elementary for her continued involvement in the America Reads Literacy Success Program.
In 2005 merely two years after graduating from High School Wanesha was given the opportunity to deliver words of Encouragement as the Keynote Speaker for the “JL Fernell Scholarship Banquet” honoring upcoming High School Graduates during the 2005 school year.
In 2006 Wanesha launched her first Open Mic Venue titled “The Poetry Lounge” which showcased local poets from the Tampa Bay area. In 2006 Wanesha also became a member of Poetic Colla’ge Poetry Troupe founded by Igo & Pauline Naptalli.
